Jul 17 - Director, Planned Giving
Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) the incumbent is responsible for providing strategic direction and planning to the University in the area of planned giving and charitable gift planning. Under general direction, the incumbent is responsible for developing, marketing and administrating the University’s gift planning program and to provide leadership and training to all development staff with respect to creating tailored cultivation and solicitation plans for prospective donors and facilitating the development of specific strategies to promote planned and deferred giving. The incumbent is responsible for assuring proper documentation of all unrealized (expectancies) and realized planned gifts to the University. In addition, the incumbent will advise senior university officials as well as the management team and senior development officers in Advancement on actual or proposed changes in federal or provincial tax law and regulations which might impact current and deferred gifts from benefactors. ... more >
