Wheelchair Basketball Canada (WBC) has an immediate opening for a dynamic, energetic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist the organization in its marketing and fundraising efforts in the position of Fund Development Manager. The Fund Development Manager is responsible for overseeing Wheelchair Basketball Canada (WBC)’s fundraising efforts to solicit charitable and corporate contributions through the creation, implementation and delivery of a robust and innovative fundraising plan that supports the organization’s long term growth and revenue generation targets. Responsibilities include the development, execution and management of new and existing donor programs; strategic partnership development, grant applications and proposal writing, and other fundraising initiatives. The range of functions requires a solid understanding of fundraising in the non-governmental / not-for-profit sector. Working closely with other Marketing and Communications staff, and the Executive Director, the Fund Development Manager functions as a member of a team while possessing the ability to work independently and advance projects and initiatives. Dec 3 - Director of Major Gifts
The Montfort Hospital Foundation has created a new position of Director of Major Gifts (Bilingual). This new Director will work under the direction of the Foundation's President and CEO and will provide leadership in the development, planning and implementation of the Foundation's Major Gifts program. Key responsibilities of the position will include planning and development of Major Gift strategic initiatives that identify major funding sources that will in turn meet donor's philanthropic needs for individuals, corporations and foundations. Working with the other Foundation team members, the Director will prepare written materials including case statements and funding proposals in support of the various funding programs.
